Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative intern to join the Explore Perdido Key team. As a Social Media and Content Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating and managing content for our website and social media platforms. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain experience in digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and creating content for our website, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

  • Research and write engaging articles about local attractions, restaurants, and events.

  • Capture and edit photos and videos for social media posts.

  • Schedule and publish posts to maintain a consistent online presence.

  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages.

  • Help plan and execute content strategies, including weekend pre-planning for visual content.

  • Collaborate with local businesses and contributors to feature their stories on our platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
